HAYLA Lacrosse teams are affiliated with the YMCA and members of the Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Conference (WMYLC). Our teams compete against those in the Smithsburg, Catoctin, Middletown and Frederick areas. If you're in the area, it doesn't matter where you go to school so contact us and get on board. Lacrosse is an exciting sport combining the facets of others like hockey, basketball, soccer and football. As our sport is exploding across the country, we are committed to growing it here in Washington County as well. As a sport that utilizes speed, endurance, eye-hand coordination, individual skill and team skill, we are able to provide kids and parents with a great alternative to other sports. Not only can we make your kids great lacrosse players, we commit to making them good citizens as well through the game of Lacrosse. The main season of Lacrosse is Spring, however, camps, clinics and other smaller leagues can be played in the Summer, Fall and Winter as well. We have grown tremendously since our start in 2003. We now roster over 240 boys and girls in our spring session and are currently students at over 40 different schools throughout the county and beyond. Teams are broken up into the following groups and apply to Girls and Boys separately:
