The Sky is the Limit!

As a grass-roots and foundational Lacrosse program, HAYLA provides the building blocks for kids to play the sport at higher levels from travel programs, to high school, college and club.

Travel Programs
FASTLAX - Frederick Area Select Team Lacrosse

  • Location: Based out of Frederick MD.
  • About FASTLAX:  FASTLAX offers the more competitive WMYLC players who aspire to play at a higher level an opportunity to play against some of the best youth lacrosse programs in the country.  The spring schedule is structured around the WMYLC schedule and the team plays in the elite lacrosse league featuring teams like the Baltimore Crabs.  FASTLAX teams also compete in the "A" division in regional tournaments composed of teams from all over the country.  FASTLAX currently has a U11 (Black), U13 (Silver), U15 (White), JV (Blue) & Varsity (GOLD).
Frederick Stars Lacrosse (FS LAX)
FS LAX is an excellent program for talented girls aspiring to play at higher levels.  FS Lax has begun featuring players whose careers are now extending beyond high school and into the collegiate ranks.

Men's Club Programs
There are various men's and women's club teams in the Frederick and DC/Balt areas.  Beginning in the fall of 2009, Western MD will feature the first official Men's lacrosse club playing in the competitive American Lacrosse League.  The Western MD Team Budlight will feature talented players from the Smithsburg and Hagerstown area with experience ranging from high-school, post-high school club and college experience.
